The Staff

  Sara is likely to be the first member of our office you will encounter, on the phone or in person.  She can assist you with scheduling an appointment, answer questions about our fees and payment methods, or verify your medical and vision insurance.  Sara is our medical billing specialist.  Please make sure to provide your medical and vision insurance cards, as well as, all information pertaining to in order for us to properly handle your claims.

  If we find that a referral from your Primary Care Physician is necessary in order to bill out the claims, Sara will be coordinating all efforts.

  Sara is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Greeting you with her warm smile and a friendly hello, you are sure to feel the warm welcome and small town family atmosphere. 

  While Nancy only works part time, she is a valued member of our Flushing Optical family and will go out of her way to make sure your visit is a pleasent one.  While assisting in chart preparation, scheduling appointments, and pretesting patients.  She also helps in verifying and submitting your vision insurance claims. She is one of those employees that can do a little bit of everything and do it well.

  When Nancy's not working for Flushing Optical she enjoys spending time with her husband on their sail boat and entertaining their granddaughter.

  Whether behind the frontdesk or in the eyeglass dispensary, Jennifer will be key in many aspects of your visit to our office.  She is responsible for chart preparation, insurance verification and billing, pretesting,  and scheduling appointments.  You may even find her fitting eyeglasses or conducting contact lens care classes.  Adjustments and cutting of lenses for eyeglasses is also on her list of duties performed. 

  Jennifer resides in Flushing with her 3 daughters.  She is active within the community through her children's extra-curriculars and other school related events.

   David is our optician who comes to us with over 35 years of experience in the optical industry as on optician and eyewear stylist.  "I love spending time interacting with our patients and guiding them through the selection process.  It's all about getting the right combination of lenses and frames to create eyewear that preform properly while looking great.  What's really exciting to me is all the new lens technologies that are available today that give us better options to create great looking eyewear."

  Not only is David skilled at assisting you with selecting your eyewear.  He also fabricates most of our eyewear in our own finishing lab.  Once your eyewear is ready for dispensing. David will skillfully fit and adjust them to insure a proper fit and that they are preforming properly.

  David lives in Grand Blanc with his wife and enjoys traveling, golfing, sailing and fly fishing.  He also is very fond of his two dogs Rocky and Adrian a pair of puggles that are often seen in the office from time to time.
